Business and Production Plan

In the first quarter of 2008, the export frozen seafood processing factory No1 came into operation for the first stage for total capacity of 150 tons of input materials per day. In the third quarter, more facilities will be installed to raise its capacity up to 600 tons of input materials per day. Particularly, factory No2 and factory No3 will get off the ground and is projected to conduct operations in 2009. Currently, much attention is being paid to potential markets such as the EU, Middle East, Asia, Australia, the US, etc.

For the synchrony of the closed production lines, in 2008, the Corporation will embark on the construction of by-product processing workshop with the capacity of 200 tons of by-products per day. Also, the factory is likely produce fish flour, fish intestines, oil, etc. In the meantime, the Corporation will complete the site clearance compensation for building infrastructure of fish culture area with more than 60 hectares in Chợ Mới District, An Giang Province and Thanh Bình District, Đồng Tháp Province.

Also in 2008, IDI Corporation will fulfill the administrative procedures for the expansion of Vàm Cống Industrial Park, raising its total area amounting to 40 hectares. Land zoning to sell out its floors will be expanded in Lấp Vò District, Đồng Tháp Province. In mid 2009, construction of high-rise buildings for workers will be kicked off in Vàm Cống Industrial Park.

IDI Corporation also has plan for the development of industrial zones, buildings, high-rise apartments, etc in provinces of the whole country, especially in the Mekong Delta regions. Further endeavor is being made to move IDI forward to become the “pivotal satellite” of Sao Mai Consortium.

Human Resources

On the principal of “Stable settlement leads to prosperous career”, IDI has offered many preferential policies and best accommodation to hard-working, skilful workers and competent cadres who are working for the Corporation in Vàm Cống Industrial Park with the view of boosting up the operational efficiency for the factory. With the operating objective of “Interests of the Corporation are interest of the employees and customers”, IDI has provided training courses for human resources, part-time jobs, etc. Moreover, the Corporation draws attention of workers not only at the local but in other regions nationwide.
